Our Story
Hi! My name is Chelsea and I’m the owner of Letter My Yard and I am so excited that you’re here!
A little about me. I am a wife and mama. My husband, Zack and I have known each other since high school and have been together for 9 years. We have three little girls who give me a run for my money. Kaydence is the oldest and sweetest. She has deep red hair that you can’t even pay for! Kamerynn is our middle child. Her hair is also red, but a much lighter version. If you have a middle child, you know exactly how she is! She’s our most sassy, that’s for sure. Kerrigan is the baby of our bunch! She is completely blonde! The red ran out, unfortunately. She’s the ultimate baby of the family. We all love her so much!
I was a restaurant server for my entire adult life. I worked at Longhorn for about 10 years when Covid hit. I was furloughed and when it was time to go back, I felt called to keep staying home with my babies. I look at Covid as a clean slate for my future. No more restaurant industry! And every former server said “Amen!”
The opportunity to buy this yard card business presented itself in August 2021. It was almost a no brainer for me! I still get to stay home with my girls (well, the baby. The older two are in school during the day!), I get to be involved in their lives as a cheer coach for one and a cheer mom for the other, and I get to serve my community and make people smile!
